I did a clean install of GrapheneOS yesterday, and I noticed that if I grant access to the microphone from the top down menue (top of the screen), it automatically runs the microphone, even though there isn't a single app running (meaning the green indicator on the top right of the screen lights up and stays on all the time).
If, on the other hand, I grant camera access from the same menue and then use the camera, only then will the green camera indicator on the top right of the screen light up. The same is not true for the microphone, however. As soon as I grant access, the green indicator lights up and stays constantly on, suggesting that the microphone is actually in use somewhere. The indicator even stays on when the screen is locked. I have never had this issue on previous installs.
I am thankful for any advice. Obviously, I turn off the microphone access unless needed, but I feel like this can't be as intended, espeacially since it works as intended with camera access.
