Always On VPN doesn't seem to be working

I've been on GOS for over two years now and never experienced this on my P7P.

I am using Proton VPN with always on enabled. I haven't changed any settings recently. I have noticed the VPN is disconnecting and I am still able to use the internet while it's disconnected. I confirmed in my DNS logs that VPN is not being used during this time.

Is anyone else having this issue lately?

Forgot to mention an important bit, I have on "prevent connections without VPN". I always leave this on as well as the VPN.

nope, latest GOS + different Wireguard-based vpn

mmobder Thanks for the reply. I delete the VPN from settings and reinstalled the app. It seems to be working better now in general, but I'm not sure what caused this.
