Screen lock delay & Screen Recorder App

When locking and unlocking screen quickly the phone shows the window in which we are working and than quickly changes to lock screen. I think this makes the phone feels buggy.

Screen recorder app is not available therefore there is no option to change recording settings. I'm also unable to find that screen recording app.

I felt the same on the normal pixel 9
There is a delay when locking until the lock screen clock and other components apear.
On stock, as soon as I press, it imediatly shows the clock and the others.

Perhaps not fully on topic, but did you also ever needed to enter the PIN / credentials twice for unlocking the screen? For me, after entering the first time, the keypad disappears and I can see the homescreen a half of a second, then it appears a second time and I have to enter it again. After the second imput unlocking works. This happens not everytime, but very often, like every 2nd/3rd... (happens after first unlock and with P9P)

Toiletterider we should open a bug I believe, but I'm really wondering why nobody else (the majority) isn't mentioning this behaviour. I'm not aware of any special settings that I use. Since there are many listed bugs I find it difficult checking them all to avoid opening a duplicate.

Agree. I only use a few apps myself, and standard settings for the OS.

Phone has been like this a long time. The double pin lockscreen is annoying!

Toiletterider exactly - If you have a 6-digit PIN, now you have a 12-digit one :). BUT, I activated the fingerprint option "use for screen unlocking" now (without 2nd factor) and don't get that double unlock screen anymore. At least a workaround? I don't know why, but now sometimes I have to enter the PIN and sometimes only the fingerprint is sufficient for unlocking (still talking about the normal screen lock "AFU", not directly after booting "BFU"). There seems to be 2 different states of lock.

Toiletterider update: still happens. but at the second input prompt you can use the fingerprint, so for me it's an improvement (like 2nd factor). Depends if you actively lock the screen or it locks because of the screen timeout, as it seems.
