ignoramous DNS -> Split DNS turned ON.
Yes, new setting, when updated to 055t it was already enabled.
ignoramous it'll use whatever DNS upstream user has set in Configure -> DNS.
Unchanged with the update, and it was set to Mullvad extended. Gos 'private dns' is set to off. The only other dns related toggle i found is in Vanadium > Settings > Privacy and security > Use secure dns This was on, but switching it off doesnt fix the issue.
ignoramous this is a severe bug; and first such report on v055t
Could it be possible that WG proxy was reported 'failing' in rdns app, while it was actually working tunnelling traffic? Asking cause I might have confused ip of the WG in rdns with ip WG on router. I would have to double check this. But I am sure that proxy in rdns was indicated 'failing' while websites worked.
Also worth mentioning on this is I saw another new setting like 'stall on loss of network access' which was off when updated to 055t. Could it be the reason?
ignoramous some other VPN app is attempting a take over of the sole VPN slot
Is there a way to stop rdns as a whole without user involved? If you known of such please share. There is no other VPN app on the device. What counters this assumption is that issue does not exist in 055n.
With 055n every time device is in bfu there is a notification from Graphene os 'Disconnected from always-on VPN'. This i think is due to rdns app not launched while is bfu state, which is expected i guess. On 055n Once device is in afu state a tunnelled network access is established without the need to manually start rdns service like on 055t.
