Charging optimization to 80 % gone/broken ?

I see since the last 2 (?) GOS-Releases that charging optimization to only 80 % seems to be gone/broken.
I know sometimes the phone needs to charge to 100 % (once)

But now after charging once to 100 % I see the following charges aren't limited to 80 % anymore

Is it just me ?

JoeAverage64 my phone is facing the same problem. Sometimes it charges until 86% or 93%

You need to let it charge to full, then wait till the shield icon shows up, and then unplug it. It needs to recalibrate sometimes. It's working as intended.

I meant I did so !
Will right now charge to 100 % and report in around 5 days ...

JoeAverage64 keep it plugged in while it's at 100%. Do not unplug until it shows a shield icon on the battery.

I guess that is/was my mistake (cause got confused with the simple battery icon)
