.
I have a technical al question for the community here.
I bought a Pixel 7a specifically to get away from iOS and Android OS.
Out of the box I immediately installed iode OS on my 7a and all worked fine.
Afther watching a few video on Graphene OS I decided to give it a try.
I put the 7a back to stock Android (15) to install Graphene. The installation went OK from the first try.
BUT !! No carrier signal !!
The phone recognized my SIM, the operator name a d my phone number, but always gives 'no service'
I went to a place where I always get 4 and even 5G reception, but still nothing.
I still had an older iPhone 11 in a drawer and tried my SIM in there, ... all worked fine and get 4G
Then I went back to stock Android on the 7a, all worked fine again.
I put it back to Graphene, same issue, no reception.
Back to stock Android and back to iode OS ... BUT now also the same 'no service' issue with iode !?!
Back to stock Android and back to Graphene, still the same.
In between I also did check the SIM into the iPhone, where it always works fine.
I contacted the technical department of my provider and had a relative long conversation with the person, but no solution for the problem.
If the SIM works fine in the Phone 11 and also in the Pixel 7a when with stock Android ... then there is nothing wrong with the SIM a d they do not put any restrictions or blockage on it.
So why oh why does it not work when putting Graphene ???
