mikael I have a Pixel 6a with GrapheneOS. What's the best way to migrate to a Pixel 8a that will run GrapheneOS? I want to carry over as much data and settings as possible.
DeletedUser370 mikael What I do is: Use Seedvault to take backups to an external drive (Settings > System > Backups) Take manual backups of my files and app data when possible (for instance, some apps allow you to export app settings to a file) I do not, ever, factory reset my original device before I have confirmed that the backup and my files were successfully restored onto the other device Restore the Seedvault backup onto the new device Take notice of which apps and app data and files were successfully restored, and manually transfer any from the external drive that weren't restored Set up the new device to my liking before factory resetting the original device Pat myself on the back I'm not sure there is any easier or smoother method to transfer such data device to device.
