Struggling with keyboards having moved from IOS

Hello All!

Loving the move back to android and GOS so far, so far my only gripe is the keyboard. I was rather confident I'm my typing on iOS (maybe thank to their correction and prediction).

I'm currently using HeliBoard after seeing a few suggestions but I find I'm just getting too many typos and odd corrections.

Ive found many a thread from a few years ago about suggested apps (open board, Floris).

Just wanted to check to see if these are still the best two options or if there is another leading the pack currently?

I seem to have seen a few suggest google's keyboard with disabled network - but not sure if people think this is a good idea if you're trying to remove google reliance anyway.

Hello, I too was in a similar situation when switching back to android. I have tested most of the "best" keyboards and found that Futo keyboard was the best overall. It has swipe gestures and speech to text built in, decent autocorrect, it looks good, it has usefull shortcuts that I can't live without anymore (hold C to copy, V to paste), and it's completely offline.
