Can one app access the other? (Firefox/Vanadium -> TorBrowser)

Hello!
On a windows PC I have configured the proxy settings of Firefox Browser - so that I can acess tor network with Firefox via the Tor Browser that is running paralell.
I transfered the proxy settings from firfox in windows to firefox beta on graphene. Tor is running parallel.
-> No access to tor network with firefox. Is it because apps are isolated from each other?

If you want to connect apps to the Tor network that are not the Browser itself, I suggest that you try Orbot

I think Orbot will not run parallel to my VPN.
Is there anything to read/learn about how apps can access each other?
