Locking the screen without the power button

Looking for a trustworthy app for immediate screen lock. Not interested in this as a feature of a 3rd-party launcher.

I'm aware that the solution will involve accessibility service or device admin permissions. That's why prefer a small, transparent, and trusted app designed especially and only for that.

There is an unmaintained named Private Lock. Locks screen based on movement/acceleration.
Works okay (definitely needs an update e.g. target SDK).

Note that locking this way forces primary unlock (disables fingerprint).

Yeah, as I suspect the accessibility needs to be involved to be able to reuse the fingerprint.

Toggle Status Widget works perfect. But you need to learn the "eco system" of the app. You can configure a lot of toggles, shortcuts and switches.
