Hello everyone,
So far, I am liking gos a lot, and this is coming from a life long apple user.
With that said, I could use some advice on how to best separate my user profile.
I want to use the owner profile just for managing installed applications (keep them in a disabled state) and deploy the applications to my main profile which I would daily use.
My question is on how notifications for sms, calls, and any xmpp client notifications for voip numbers would work...
If I put the sim card phone number to be used in a sub profile, would I get txt messages\calls and alerts if the phone reboots automatically over night? Because the owner profile would be the only thing that automatically runs, so the Main profile would be off...
Second to this is the notion of an xmpp client like cheogram. If I have this client running in a sub profile how would I get notifications after a reboot without loading that sub profile?
I would like to have the phone reboot automatically after x hours. But I think this would get in the way of sms, txt, and client notifications, if communications are not handled in the owner profile.
I would like to hear practical advice on how to deal with these notifications when using non-owner profiles.
