Quite a lot of emotion over a font! Okay, so I get that we like to tweak visuals to our likings, and its sometimes unwelcome when those tweaks are adjusted without our consent.
However, consider the fact that we are using one of the finest - perhaps the finest - operating system for a mobile device out there, if your primary concern is privacy & security.
I've only been using GrapheneOS for a couple weeks now, but every day it makes me smile when I use my phone now, knowing the enhanced control I have over it thanks to the hard work of the developers. They still have to use the baseline AOSP code as a starting point, however, so when google makes a change to that, there are sometimes unintended consequences. I get the frustration, but honestly - relative to the data sucking that regular Android & Apple users have to suffer through constantly, isn't a hiccup like the font of the clock relatively minor? Doesn't mean you shouldn't bring it up, just maybe step back and look at the broader picture to keep your reactions more proportional, and directed toward the right audience? :-)
