Apps that were using the "automatic protection" feature from the Google Play console to prevent running an app not installed from Play Store will now work.
This is relevant because some apps prevented the app from working when sideloaded or installed via e.g. Aurora Store while also forbidding any non-stock OS from installing the app from Play Store itself. Previously, people had no choice.
Ebay is an example of this, which now works fine if installed via Aurora Store or sideloaded.
