Apps no longer connect to bluetooth devices

Hi all,

I've been having a lot of trouble with my Pixel 7a for the last month. For some reason I'm not able to connect to other bluetooth devices anymore when pairing is done through an app.
I can see the devices I want to pair with when I open the bluetooth settings; they show under available devices. But the apps just can't seem to detect them.
I use a single profile with the apps I'm using either living in Private Space or Work Profile, with the latter two having GPS installed.

What I've done to resolve the issue so far:

Remove all paired devices
Reset bluetooth setting
Factory reset the phone

None of the above worked.

Is there anyone that can help me resolve this issue?

Update:
I found that when I clone the app from the Work space to the Personal space the app in the Personal space can instantly find the bluetooth device. Additionally, when opening the app again in the Work space, the app can successfully connect to the bluetooth device.

So the issue appears to have something to do with new bluetooth connections from the Work space or Private space.

Hey, I've got the same issues for a while now. An Existing clone of the app in the personal space helps to get a working version in the shelter work space, yes. That works fine for apps that do an initial setup of the devices to be connected. But there are other apps, as mentioned here earlier, that do not set up anything as they always use a new connection. One of thos is the DHL App for German parcel stations (DHL Packstation). Last week I was not able to retrieve my package as the app would not connect to the station. This and the additional steps of cloning between work and personal to use those apps is a bit annoying, would be nice to have a solution for that.
