Bootloader Cannot Be Unlocked

I installed GrapheneOS with no issues on a new Pixel7. I wanted to revert to stock temporarily, for business purposes and plan to reinstall GrapheneOS. However, enabling OEM unlocking (using GrapheneOS) is impossible. I am asked for my password-it is accepted but remains locked. I have tried the android site option mentioned, which states I must unlock first. Every forum post, and every mention of this issue, and the subsequent resolution will NOT work for me. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

walker_p just wondering, what happens when you enable/disable OEM unlocking? Does anything happen with the toggle? Is developer options enabled?

Developer options are enabled. When attempting to toggle OEM Unlocking on, the system requests my numeric password (fingerprint not requested) and I am returned to the toggle, which is off. When I attempt to toggle it on, again my numeric password is required-ad infinitum, with no ability to move the toggle. Apparent bug.

UPDATE: I tried disabling developer options and then re-enabling developer options a few times with the necessitated restarts. I was then finally able to toggle OEM Unlocking on, after accepting the warning notification. Hopefully this will solve this obvious bug which I am sure others encounter.
