App fails to install

I find that sometimes when I install an app through the play store, it fails, so I attempt to install it again, and it goes through. Is there a reason it would fail once or twice, and on the last attempt, go through?

cloudyskies993 we recently saw someone who said they were having issues with apps installing and it turned out that they were expecting installs to be faster. GrapheneOS compiles apps when they're installed or updated for security reasons. Make sure to tap "install" only once and see if that helps.

Since factory resetting my primary GOS phone a couple weeks ago, I haven't been able to install the VLC or Mpv media players via the Play Store.

All other apps have installed fine, but these two download to 100%, say "Installing...", then "Can't install VLC for Android. Try again, and if it still doesn't work, see common ways to fix the problem".

The suggested fixes haven't helped (I already have a strong wifi connection, have restarted Play, cleared the app's cache, and restarted the device, all without success.)

mythodical Likely unrelated, but I have experienced this issue when installing multiple apps at once. Are you installing and waiting or trying to install both at the same time? Longshot I know...
