'Sinhala' language support for keyboard

Hi,

I'm trying to add 'Sinhala'(country: Sri Lanka) language to the onscreen keyboard on a Pixel 8a, but I don't see it in the list. Please add language support for 'Sinhala' to the keyboard application. Thank you for the GrapheneOS!

Hi,
Thank you for the suggestion, but I want to strictly stay with GrapheneOS and keep third party apps to a minimum. 'Sinhala' language is supported by default in Android devices I have used in the past, so I'm hoping it'll be added in a future update.

You need to install a keyboard with input support for it. There isn't one included in the Android Open Source Project.

If it gets added upstream to the AOSP keyboard app, then possibly. Otherwise, highly unlikely we will be adding it ourselves.
