Does anyone know of or heard of any new security enhancements introduced with the Pixel 10 series?

It looks like the security enhancements are already included with GOS, so no real enhancement for current GOS users I do not think.

Franckienogotobollywood Yes, I understand that. I was getting more at the fact that I assume OP is a GOS user and is asking if a Pixel 10 offers and security enhancements over earlier Pixels. Your response concerning the lockdown mode coming for Pixel 10s is only an enhancement if OP does not already use (plan to use) GOS

yes you were correct, I was wondering if Pixel 10 would introduce new security hardware features, such at when memory tagging was introduced in the Pixel 8.

I have a Pixel tablet and will soon buy my first Pixel phone. I'll wait on the Pixel 10's release if it offered more security than the Pixel 9 series.

Todfloyd Frankly if it offered ANY real hardware improvement. The P9 series was so absorbed with its "AI" features that there was basically no improvement to the CPU, RAM, storage, cameras, or screen. That's why when I needed a new phone, I waited for the Pixel 9 to come out... Then I bought a discounted 8 Pro.

Fingers crossed the 10 series will be better, though.

Todfloyd There have been rumors for a long time that Google is going to use a new manufacturer for their CPUs rather than using Samsung foundries. This might have good implications for CPU security. No way of telling until they announce anything.
