It is not a bad idea. But if you are concerned about browser fingerprinting because you feel a Tor node would be too unique you could also run a trusted VPN and just swap the VPN server location you utilize when you feel you need to.
As it is Vanadium browser users are already pretty unique. Also, unless you are creating a new identity, the past login credentials being used will already let the webpage server know that it is you. So as with most things it depends on what sites/services you are accessing, how you are using/interacting with it, and what level of privacy you are trying to achieve.
