Chromecast Audio Solution?

Hi all,

Recently purchased a Pixel 9a and am running GOS for the first time. Love it so far.

The only issue I've run in to is not being able to sned music to my hi-fi which is all connected to a Chromecast Audio. This was previously done from Spotify and Poweramp, and sometimes the Home app for getting YouTube Audio to play.

My initial research is that Chromecast (TV) doesn't seem to be supported, so I am assuming Chromecast Audio is the same - is this correct?

Has anyone found any solutions to this issue? If not then I'll likely look at replacing my Chromecast Audio with a Bluetooth receiver or similar.

Chromecast streaming working just fine on a Pixel 6 here, had to set it up all over again with the Google Home app tho, for some reason it wouldn't work initially when I tried at first, having been set up with a non-GOS phone before. Also there was some trouble with 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz not being separated on the router, but I managed in the end, tho maybe it had been easier if I had made them separate for choosing during the Chromcast setup.
