Do you use passkeys?

Hi,

Since it’s been ‘democratised’, I’d like to know if some people have switched to passkeys or if you continue to connect with password + double authentication?
I’d also like to know what you think of passkeys in terms of security and what tools you use?

I use Passkey, but only on a few sites: Amazon, Bitwarden, Google, GitHub, and PlayStation. Mainly with my yubikeys.

The current implementation is often "bad", since you still have to keep a password instead of being able to replace it entirely. But I wish I could use it more often.

I use passkeys, mainly physical USB keys. Unfortunately, they don't work at the moment with my GOS Pixel tablet. Cannot setup new ones or use them to log in. Worked before.

Check this. It may just be necessary to temporarily disable the password manager.

Which model of security key are you using? And is it possible to share a crash log?

fid02 Token2 is the key. But I am ditching the key anyway.

But it also doesn't work to add the tablet itself as a Passkey in Brave browser. Vanadium too. Paypal says the tablet or browser don't allow it. EBay doesn't work either. Worked for Protonmail though.
