I’m planning to buy a new Pixel phone and install GrapheneOS on it. Since I want the best possible photo quality, I’d prefer using the Google Camera app rather than the one that comes with GrapheneOS. Additionally, I intend to use the app without any network connection. However, I’ve recently discovered that the app continuously displays a "Device is offline. The photo quality and functionality may be limited until the camera app is updated." message when there’s no internet connection (see photo: https://paste.pics/0c2f057145bc62dcd699bed309e8e0e7). Unfortunately, I haven’t found a way to dismiss or suppress it. It’s constantly on the screen, which is extremely annoying.
Has anyone using the Google Camera app with GrapheneOS had the same issue, or found a way to remove this message?
I know this question is about the Google Camera app, not the GrapheneOS camera app. Sorry if I'm in the wrong forum for this but I did not see a forum which might be more appropriate for this topic.
