I currently have Google Play Services (GPS) installed on Main profile and additional two User profiles. GPS works as expected on these three profiles.
I need GPS on an additional, newly created User profile. When trying to install GPS on this profile I receive the error message: "Installation Failed, The app is corrupt." I created additional new user profiles to see if I received the same error, and I did - this happens on any new user profile I attempt to create. For all new profiles created, both Google Play Store and Google Services Framework will properly install, but Google Play Services fails and launches the error typed above.
My exact steps:
1- Create new user profile from main owner
2- Set up new user profile
3- Once at the home screen for new user profile, launch Apps and click "Install" on Google Play Store
4- Click "Install All"
Result:
Google Play Store and Google Framework Services install properly. Google Play services throws the error: "Installation Failed, The app is corrupt."
After this resulting error, I check SETTINGS->APPS to see if SANDBOXED GOOGLE PLAY is present, but in every case, it is not.
nrt I have never launched the Google Play Store in any profile AFAIK so I'm not sure how this could be the cause of my problem but perhaps you can clarify.
