Allow LAN while disabling Network

I use GOS for a while now and beginning with smart home features now.
I look into Philips Hue to control the lights. But there are plenty similar. Zigbee etc.
In future most likely the need for smart home Apps to control smart home devices will increase and so I thought a feature implementation would make much sense here.
To give the user an opporunity to use Apps like Philips Hue Google Home.... while still blocking connections to Servers on WAN.
Right now you can only disable Network for Apps completely, but then you also can't communicate via LAN(smart home devices).
Would it be possible to create a LAN-only toggle?

I don't know how practical it would be to implement, but that would be an awesome feature. For example, I don't allow network access to my file manager, as I don't trust such an app to have unrestricted file and network access, but I would love to use it for browsing local file shares.
