Hello all you wisest GrapheneOS users,
I'm going to try to phrase my question in the least polemical way possible.
So the main foundations at stake with governing and financing free and open source software are based in the United States. Especially those governing and financing the Linux kernel, which is the base of most of the non-Microsoft operating systems.
I am aware that open source means auditable and forkable, and that reduces the risks. Anyway, anything based on the soil of a country may be influenced by the government, either by negotiation and free will or by pressure and force. So, do you feel there is a significant possibility that the US government might intervene in FOSS and especially in the Linux kernel ? And what would then be the main risk ?
That might also apply to the governance of internet.
