BillytheLid It's a different kind of bad. Maybe I am alone with this issue but imagine hard-to-turn-off features like google screen share or nearby devices; spread across the board with many layers and you get a Microsoft. Microsoft might not be that evil corporation but their term of services have a tendencies to become more vague, last time it happened to me next thing I knew couple of weeks later they had uncovered a new cyber attack or what-not, or how they can manage to loose some of their security logs . I'd say that they are much better than google at making acceptable excuse and that worries me. Personally I find their Microsoft account very invasive, coupled with their "best" security practices it has me worried a lot. I don't think I can make a difference between them rolling back a newly added "feature" from a malware.
..and just as found out that I had issue updating a "new" fresh Windows 11 installed via the official iso and a valid license had weird behaviour and wasn't updating much, this came out https://lifehacker.com/tech/some-windows-11-users-can-no-longer-install-security-updates . Just a bit before I had decided to move from a dual-boot to full-time Linux user. It wasn't the primary reason but lets say that I don't intend to ever go back. So yeah, I don't think Microsoft is as bad as Google, it's just different.
