Private Space - App Versions

Do the private space app, work like the User profile apps? As in, that they "share" the apk file.
So when you update one, all are updated?

because i did read, that this is implemented differently from user profiles, and that private space apps have their own version / apk

but yet when update an owner profile app, the private space app gets update too automatically (just happend with the pdf viewer update)

so can someone please clarify this?

App APKs are always installed globally on the phone, no app is ever installed in any specific profile. Only user data for each app is stored in the user profiles (owner, secondary, private space, work profile), encrypted with the user profile passphrase.

So if you update an app in one user profile, it is always updated in all others too, since it is actually the globally installed APK outside of all user profiles that gets updated. Private space is no different.
