New Pixel 9a with known resolved issues

First off, thanks to the community and the devs on this awesome project. Been using GrapheneOS for a few years on a Pixel 6a. Just upgraded to the Pixel 9a but running into issues that where fixed on the Pixel 6a a while back.

The first one is Android Auto not routing audio unless you enable Mic access [I think it was fixed on 2024121200].
The second is the SMS app not respecting the set notification set for it and defaulting to the system default notification [apperantly a known issue since 2025012600 release that was fixed].
The other is Vanadium behaving funking and reseting tab groups, experince this behavior last year on the Pixel 6a but it was fixed.

My question is, is the Pixel 9a running an older fork release or did I forget to take my crazy pills 😅? Anything I can do to help fix these issues as a user of this OS/project?

I guess I was wrong on the SMS alerts. After posting the message I tried a different approach. Instead of re-selecting the same alert as I've been doing, I changed it to a different sound. Got a text this morning an was happy to hear the new sound. Changed it back to the sound I actually wanted and its working as expected. Not sure why this happened but glad its working now.

I also went back and checked on the Android Auto, to make sure I'm not wrong about needing Microphone permission. Music playback doesn't work without the Microphone permission.

Scratch that, there is an SMS alert issue. If you set a specific alert sound for SMS other than the default it is ignored. The only way that it works is if you customize the alert after you get an SMS from a give sender. Otherwise it uses the default system wide notification sound.

Opened up bug reports on the GrapheneOS github project.

The android auto was flagged as an up stream issue.
The Messaging app issue has other similarly issues opened so assuming it will get sorted eventually.
