Pixel 9a gets warm during light use?

Tracked the battery temperature with BatteryGuru. Battery temperature increases quickly to around 35C during 4k 2X speed youtube playback, and to around 33C during browsing and reddit.
I came from a SD855 that doesn't go past 30C unless gaming. Is this just regular tensor chip behavior?
Also the battery doesn't really last that long. With graphene os I was expecting aroung 2 days of usage but currently only gets one day. BatteryGuru reports 7.5 hours of screen on time. I use FCM and restrict most apps' background usage.

There are many reports of much higher battery consumption and higher temperatures starting beginning of April. I would wait a few months and redo the temperature tests then, the situation might have improved then.
