VPN force AppStore to constantly search for updates

I noticed that I get "App update check failed" notifications although I activated Flight mode.
I consider that as a bug because App Store still searches for new updates despite Flight mode is activated.

Is VPN functionality on Graphene OS in a good shape? I also noticed that with VPN Obtainium became unusable.

For the most part. Some leaks still happen as far as I'm aware, but VPNs work fine.

Have you disabled any of the protection measurements or all standard?

I still have problems with background updates via Obtainium as well without VPN but it has unrestrivted battery. I guess one of the updates messed it up.

No I haven't. I don't do background updates so I can't help there.
