Play Store and Aurora both installed

I initially installed google play store to make sure my necessary apps would run correctly. And I have also installed aurora store later on to try it out.

I'm thinking about uninstalling Google Play Store (GPS), would Aurora simply "take over" the updates of the previously installed apps through GPS?

Does logging into Aurora with a Google account defeats the purpose of uninstalling GPS?

I would recommend keeping the Play Store and unistalling Aurora. The latter has serious security issues (just like F-Droid).

The security issues if existing a not very severe and at the moment they seem to be the only real alternatives to Propriatary software for getting apps and updates.

I keep Aurora for apps I need to spoof what device I have so I can install apps I can't with Play Store.
