VLC sensors permissions

Hi. Please, help me understanding sensors permissions.

Pixel 7 Pro.
1) Allow Sensors permission to apps by default turned off
2) Auto-rotate in status bar turned off
3) I open VLC's App info -> Permissions -> Sensors are not allowed
4) However, VLC rotates the videos (vertically, horizontally) when I rotate my phone
What sensors VLC accessing? Is it an intended behavior or permissions violation?

indigomadelin Its intended. VLC doesn't have access to your sensor data directly. Android provides a rotation API for apps to know if you have it in landscape or portrait mode. So VLC doesn't see your gyroscope movements still.
