Reported that a federal judge in Nevada has ruled that "tower dumps" (that's when police collect data from all phones connected to certain cell towers during a set time) violate the Constitution.
According to the judge, this kind of mass data collection goes against the Fourth Amendment, which protects people from unreasonable searches.
If US police could do this, surely police forces worldwide could also do so.
