I have a P8A and I'm not too happy about how well the fingerprint unlock works.
It seems it will fail if I just washed my hands or did yardwork and have dry hands or you know just looked at it askance.
To improve this I have tried tried a strategy of enrolling the same finger multiple times, but deleting the oldest version and enrolling it again every time it fails. That way I will have "finger when dry", finger when moist", "finger when wrinkly after swimming" etc. The problem is of course that I could easily end up deleting the enrolled print that actually works best and making it all worse.
What would be very useful in this context would be if I could access a log of which enrolled fingerprint triggered the unlock each time. That way I could just keep replacing the worst performing instance and hopefully improve overall performance.
Does anyone here know a way to do this, or have any other tips to improve the fingerprint unlock performance?
