RethinkDNS and mullvad VPN

Does anyone know if i can use the mullvad vpn app together with rethink dns?

like i would like to have rethinkDNS handle the dns stuff only (dns only mode?) and mullvad for vpn.

I am mostly wondering if this is possible and if so if there will be a ip leak from the dns queries, or if it will always use the vpn connection?

If you're looking to still use Mullvad app-specific features that aren't available on the config, then I'm afraid you can't use both Mullvad and Rethink as far as I'm aware.

You can. The Wireguard part is optional in RethinkDNS if you want to use the proxy.
Just configure your profile:
https://rethinkdns.com/configure

You will end up with a URL like https://sky.rethinkdns.com/1:GMg_twDgAEIhkQCA
This is your unique config.

And use the DoH URL instead of Mullvad's DNS servers. You can configure it either in GOS network
settings or in the Mullvad app/Wireguard app whatever you use.
