• GeneralPixel 6 Pro
  • Pixel 6 Pro Not Recognized by GrapheneOS Web Installer on Mac or Windows

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to reflash GrapheneOS onto two different Pixel 6 Pro devices after temporarily reverting to the stock OS. However, both devices are not being recognized by the GrapheneOS web-based installer (https://grapheneos.org/install/web) on either Windows or macOS.

Here’s the situation:
• USB debugging is enabled
• Bootloader is unlocked
• Developer options are on
• I’ve tested multiple USB cables (including the original Google cable, premium data cables, and USB-A to USB-C variants)
• Tried multiple USB ports on both Mac and Windows machines
• The devices are detected via adb devices and fastboot devices from the command line
• They also appear and work with the original Android Flash Tool (flash.android.com), but not the GrapheneOS web installers
• Tried with Chrome (latest version) on both Mac and Windows
• Gave WebUSB permissions, disabled browser extensions, and ensured the devices are in fastboot mode during connection
• Tried normal browsing (not incognito), different ports, and restarting the browsers
• No other apps using ADB or Fastboot are running during the attempts

Despite all this, the web installers just say “No compatible devices found.”

Is there anything I’m missing that might prevent WebUSB from working specifically with the GrapheneOS installer, even though Android Flash Tool works fine?

Would really appreciate any insight or tips from those who’ve run into this!

Did you remove the non-stock-key(s), as described in the last two paragraphs of the web installer instructions, before reverting to stock?

Thanks, that might be the issue. But how can I access the phone to remove it now? As it does not show up - no compatible devices found.
