Calls instantly disconnecting since update

Everytime I try to make a regular call, it instantly drops. Signal and all other apps work fine. Already tried clearing cache, restarting phone (multiple times), and not sure where to go next. I use Visible as my carrier

Weird, rebooting works for me.
I have Pixel 6a, and It's been happening at times for the past year I think, Not that I would notice it much as I so rarely make regular phone calls.

Maybe try and make sure 4G/5G calling works (I think 5G calling is a thing) as I Know some countries are shunting down 3G.

Okay_1 It has nothing to do with the recent OS update. You're wrongly blaming a carrier issue on an unrelated OS update based on timing. Start by resetting cellular configuration via Settings > System > Reset.

I experienced the same in the past months with 2 different phones on different carriers. VoLTE/VoWiFi sometimes stop working and if 2G-calling is switched off, outbound calls drop instantly (3G is shut down in Germany)...

To solve the problem, I enter APN-settings and in the sub-menu 'APN-type' I have to check the 'ims'-entry, save and exit, switching airplane mode on and off for a few seconds. The weird thing in MY case is, that I have to check and UN-check the ims-enrty in APN-settings to re-register for IMS-service/working VoLTE/VoWifi. For most others it's the other 'normal' way around with checked ims (you have to try what works for you).

You're not the only one having this issue, it's also occurring on me as well expect mine is a Pixel 8a, so that means that the Pixel 8 also has the same issue. I'm not sure how this is triggered but it has been happening to me before the update, I may have triggered it to occur on my Pixel 8a by turning off mic access and/or removing mic permission to my phone app as well, not sure if it could be happening on a specific carrier, but I did try to reset my phone as well as resetting network data, unfortunately I'm not sure how to fix this and to me it's probably been a month since I ran into this issue on March.

TreyorFrey Damn, I hope there is some sort of hotfix because being locked out of all normal outbound calls sucks. Thanks for sharing.

GrapheneOS I have actually tried that trick by going to Settings > System > Reset Mobile Network Settings but no luck, when I did reset mobile network I've tried to call voicemail, but it instantly gives me call ended, even if I try calling someone on my contracts I'd still get call ended, I did try switching from 5G and tried certain options like 3G, or LTE via preferred network option, but neither did work, and I did try WiFi calling but it also didn't work, so perhaps this is maybe a bug or something?
