I have pixel 7 pro in place, a Windows PC and webdav enabled server (Nextcloud). As an app there is as of now app davx5. Nextcloud and Windows PC work together quite well. Between Smartphone and server i want to set up a webdav synching on a folder specific level, eg images from dcim to photos an a standard Nextcloud directory for images.

What do I need to do?

Die you try the Nextcloud app?
RoundSync is also very good, in some cases even better.

hummingtop hi. Yes I did. The issue I'm struggling with: The location for the images is outside of the Nextcloud. Therefore I'm an looking for an alternative. I will give roundsynca try. Thank you so much.

SyncThing is a solid choice too. It's mature, open source, supports E2EE, and allows you to customize a variety of sync sources and unique settings for each source. For example, you can configure a one-way sync just for your camera roll, in case you regularly organize your pics on the PC but want to maintain the roll on your mobile device.

I've used it everywhere for many years and I consider it an essential tool regardless of platform.

I currently use RoundSync for that job because it is easily downloadable and free. I had Foldersync pro before and found it to be more user friendly. I.e. RS throws notifications that do not make sense. And it cannot do two way syncing. But it does the job.
