a quick search results make me think that there is no way p10 dimensions will go smaller than p8, is there?

also wondering on what benefits will{?) p10pro have over p8pro(i know both are out of my preferred dimensions)? and how they will affect the security of device?

i understand above questions are not likely to have rock solid answers so far, but i am lost in the online rumor sources and hope somebody knows which sources are more reliable than others.

            i kind of need a couple of graphene phones, not necessity but if there is not much reasons for p10 vs p8 i would acquire the p8 and p8p right now, on the other hand if there are i would wait for the p10.

                  p8pro or p10pro is planned as a gift. which i would prefer to rather make earlier than larer in case p10pro is no big advantage on top of p8pro.

                      It is rumored the tensor g5 will be ditching samsung for tsmc. This could either have benefits or drawbacks, depending on how u look at it. If the later is the case, this could imply it will be first-gen transition, which could have it's own set of issues. This is all speculation ofcourse.

                        BaronAfanas i was not able to recognize any substantial benefits in p9pro vs p8pro, besides the larger size of p9proxl which is also a question I would like to know ahead, will there also be a p10proxl and will it be as large as the p9proxl? if not then p9pxl will be an additional candidate for purchase right now.

                                Onlyfun The regular Pixel 10 may have a telephoto camera like the pro phones. Idk why you want the pro but if its the camera you might like the Pixel 10 better because it has the zoom cam, plus its a lot smaller than the pros.

                                It will also be allegedly quite a bit more powerful than the pixel 9 and the build quality will be a lot better than the Pixel 8 series.

                                    for myself even p5 screen was enough and it is crucial to have a one hand usable device, it really bothers me if i need to occupy both hands where it is totally avoidable.

                                    i think i'll just go for p8 and p8pro.

                                      p8's quality is a torture for me, 3rd p8 and it is already failng the touchscreen test. it is light years behind my s20 quality wise.

                                          now this is interesting, even though I mentioned that financial part is not a criteria in this case, i could not ignore that pixel 8 pro has same price as pixel 9 pro and pixel 9 pro xl, that makes it nonsense to buy pixel 8 pro (other than someone wanting the particular screen size of p8pro which is 6.7" unique in this case with p9pro 6.3 and p9proxl 6.8), doesn't it?

                                          Or is there some substantial benefit in p8pro compared to p9pro and p9proxl?

                                            Onlyfun Pixel 8 and 8 pro are very affordable in Europe.

                                            The pixel 9 and 9 pro are close to twice the price and the next series will be probably even more expensive.

                                            If you are not a high valuable target, you'll be fine without the modem hardware security enhancement from pixel 9 series.

                                            Just buy yourself a pixel 8.
