Facial Scan to login into apps that require it as a validation method.

I just got myself a Pixel 9 Pro and instantly decided to install GrapheneOS.

My banking app requires a Facial Scan as a method of validation that I am indeed the one login into the app for a initial setup.

I have given the app permissions for the Camera but when going through the process it simply says "Let's try that again - We need a Clearer Video Selfie - Please use Ideal Pose & Lighting".

I have also tried setting up the app mercado libre with same problem.

Application: Nubank (banking app from Brazil).
Application: Mercado Libre (Shopping app)

I can not help you, but the general advice is:

have google play store and services installed (if you dont)
enable exploit protection compability mode for the apps

and for banking apps some have to be in the owner profile, but i assume since you could proceed until this step, this is probably not the case

UPDATE: I completely uninstall the banking app (nubank) and also uninstalled the Google Play services/Store and reinstalled everything. Now it worked and I was able to do the facial validation for the App.
