  • Open by default "in your browser" not working.

I have X installed and the "Open by default" behavior is set to "In your browser". However, when I click a link to https://x.com/... in another app (like a chat app)q it opens in X instead of in my browser.

I'm confused because I thought that link handling was entirely at the discretion of the OS, and with X configured to not handle links there should be no way for any app to trigger the X app to open on its own.

What else do I need to do in order to stop x.com links from opening the X app?

I have a related question (sorry to piggyback on your post, lol). I have the Wikipedia app and I have Open by default set to "in the app" for wikipedia links when using Vanadium. But this only works intermittently, and only in normal browsing mode, NOT incognito. At the moment, wikipedia links aren't being opened in the app, even in normal browsing.
