My top list:
-DE storage space locked with owner profile credentials

  • App communication scopes
  • encryption/decryption for external storage drive with Luks
  • Phone encryption keys erased after 10 incorrect password/pin input (like blackberries)

Useful against thieves.

Never heard of any successful bypass of this feature on a blackberry device except by using chip-off on old models running BB OS 6-7 with encryption off (not set by the user)

    GOS won't implement this, if I remember correctly, they said they think its security theater

        raccoondad It is security theater when it's an OS feature not backed by the secure element.

        There's already throttling via the secure element. An OS feature limiting attempts is much easier to bypass than that.
