I have a Pixel 8 Pro
Android 15
Build number 2025032100
I am using profiles.
This is all being done in the User profile and not the owner profile.
I am wanting to install the TimeR Machine app.
I can find it in both Neo and Aurora stores.
Neo Store:
- lists several builds and marks the latest as recommended.
- I clicked on install.
- A moment later a window popped up asking me if I wanted to install.
- I said yes.
- nothing happened.. no progress bar.. no error message... no notification.. nothing.
- from this point every time I try click install nothing happens unless I double click and then I get a window asking me if I want to install and then... nothing
Aurora Store:
- lists the app
- I click on the app.
- it shows the app icon at the top with two buttons bellow [Manual Download] and [Install] an then a progress circle bellow that which keeps cycling like there is supposed to be more information being displayed but it can not find it.
- clicking install gets response of App is not available for your device.
- clicking Manual Download causes a box to appear asking me to enter version code I wish to download..
Both stores seem to have broken bits.
Why does Aurora list the app if it is not available for my device and what is with the spinning circle that looks like a youtube video buffering?
Why does Neo give me an option to install but then do nothing at all?
I have several apps installed via these stores already using this profile but is there something about a user profile that might restrict some applications from installing on my device while others are fine or might interfere with or stop some error messages from being displayed?
Perhaps these are just quirks of the Stores themselves or perhaps I am missing a tweak ?
Thanks all.
