USB-tethering rights for added users

Hi All,
I was on a business trip lately, so I wanted to USB tether the internet from my GOS phone to my notebook. It seems that only the owner profile is allowed to do that.
Question: is there a possibility to pass the rights to USB-tether (or tether in general) to an added profile?
Wifi tethering is possible when activated within in owner and switching to another profile, USB tethering not.

I'm sharing the same concern, as I also employed the using separate user for daily drive method. This there any update to this?

I have a similar issue. I have a Pixel 9 Pro and a Pixel Tablet, both running GOS. The owner profile of both devices is where I manage/install apps from and push them to the other profiles I use. What I would like to do is have the tablet share the internet connection from my phone via Bluetooth. However given that I do not use the owner profile for anything other than managing apps, having to stay active in that profile renders the phone useless if I want to keep the tethered connection active for the tablet. I can start the Bluetooth tethering from the owner profile (as I do with WiFi Hotspot, which does remain active after switching profiles) but since Bluetooth connections are severed when switching profiles, the connection does not remain active. Is there a way around this? Are there any plans to allow non-owner profiles to manage tethering?
