phil-p I am moving from an iPhone to a Pixel 6a running GrapheneOS. This is my first non-iPhone, phone --I have no experience with Android at all. Is there a utility that will transfer my Contacts from my iPhone Contacts app into my GrapheneOS Contacts app? Thanks.
matchboxbananasynergy phil-p Hi there! Does the Contacts app on your iPhone allow you to export your contacts as a .vcf file? If so, you can export them, and then import them into GrapheneOS's Contacts app.
abcZ If you can export your contacts to a standard format (vcard ".vcf"), then you can import that directly in the Android Contacts application. You can also use DAVx5 to synchronize with DAV servers, including apple or any other that you choose.
phil-p Thanks for all the replies. I apologize for not doing a little more searching before posting this thread. I just assumed with Apple being Apple it was going to be difficult and with GrapheneOS having a small user base it would not have much support.
matchboxbananasynergy phil-p No worries! We're here to help you transition to GrapheneOS successfully. :) I'd recommend doing a search on the forum before making a new thread, as there's a good chance the answer already exists, but if it doesn't, we're all ears!
phil-p Thanks. It was so much easier than I had imagined. I just exported all the contacts to one giant .vcf file. Copied them to my Proton Drive and then on my phone imported them from my Proton Drive. Easy.
