LOTS of folks having this issue with photos, app data, configs, documents, etc. UNIX begat Linux begat Android hence GrapheneOS all have three legacy directory and file permissions: User, their Groups, and All other users: i.e. "drwxrwxrwx". I get why sandboxing users/profiles is needed, but its been taken too far. We should be able to create at least one directory shared by all users/profiles.
Plugging in a USB drive to copy files is silly. And this "workaround" even requires we unmount and PHYSICALLY REMOVE the drive when switching users!
All could be simply and easily fixed in software.
