Hi, when is support for pixel 9a expected. Is 9 series recommended over 8? Is support for 9 series on pair with support for 8 series?

Unlikely before the 9a ships to users, fairly likely soon after it ships, unless it takes longer.

There are various tradeoffs... cost... which year support will end... RAM size... I think some people believe the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the 9-series devices is better...

Some people have weird issues with the Pixel 9 fingerprint reader, but it seems plausible that Google will fix that fairly soon?
