Hi all!
I was worried, that I didn't get any update for some time, so I checked and saw, that I'm seemingly stuck on an old version.

Not sure what to make of that...

But I downloaded the current stable version as zip archive, but I couldn't find a way to manually update my system with it.
Do I miss something here?

Thanks in advance for any hints!

Do you mean the normal updater just does not update your phone?

naeap Instead of sideloading the latest release, you should fix the configuration on your device or you're going to continue having the issue after updating through sideloading.

If you disabled the System Updater app, enable it again.

If you disabled Network for the System Updater app, enable it again.

Check Settings > System > System update and make sure you didn't disallow it from using the networks you have. It defaults to being allowed to use any network (Any).

If you disabled notifications for the System Updater app, give that back so it can give you error reports and show you when it has installed an update and is waiting for you to reboot. By default, Updater gives regular notifications since it shows a silent/collapsed notification when it checks for an update but you're already fully up-to-date, or an error if it failed to check or download/install an update. Disabling the notifications for already being up-to-date is fine but the reason we have those in the first place is so users are more aware of updates and have easily see when it last checked in a place they regularly look. We do plan to add that info in the System update menu too.

        Thanks for the input!

I didn't change anything and didn't disable the updater or something.

I got updates like planned (often every 2 weeks, depending on the development), and it just stopped

But I'll verify, that nothing is disabled.

Although even pressing on "check for updates" in the system settings doesn't do a thing...

So I'm not sure what the problem here is

Edit: I checked my apps I and I can't find any system updater app.
Also, before posting the question, I enabled to allow updates even with roaming - which was the only restriction.
But still not update getting downloaded.

I'm currently worried, that my system got somehow compromised and I'm not sure how - and even less how I could check for that

        Thanks for any help!

Yeah, I don't get any new update it seems.

Also manually pressing "search for update" (or what it's actually labelled) seems to not do anything

I've enabled even to update while roaming, just to make sure, but it doesn't seem to make a difference

Ha! Could have thought about that myself...

After rebooting a system update is finishing and I'm at least on a newer version.
When everything is finalized, I'll try to check for a current update

          Thank you very much!
Seems something got struck with the last update and didn't finish correctly or something...

Edit: yeeha, new system update is being downloaded now 🥳

Reboot normally solves this. My gal has a P7P, and she has the same issue where no updates are happening until she reboots the phone. Then it downloads and installs the latest update.

It's annoying, but rebooting the phone is a good thing to do anyway
