"Add text on lock screen" not working

When I add text to lockscreen or medical information it does not show up. Any idea why?

this shows up for me at the bottom of the lockscreen where it usually says swipe up to unlock or charging information.

Could be. Some weird UI bugs from upstream show up every once in a while. There is a lockscreen layout issue that the GrapheneOS developers have fixed. I saw that they've made more changes recently. Hopefully their changes will fix the issue you're encountering.

Thank you, that worked for the medical info but what about just text on lock screen?

I tried to add text but it does not show on my lockscreen. I'm unsure if its hidden due to other privacy settings?

Some random ideas:

Have you restarted the device?
Do you use a custom launcher that offers the option to modify the home screen (and could maybe interfere with the text)?
Do you have Always-on display enabled (Settings > Display > Lock Screen > Always show time and info)? If so, the text will not show up on Always-on display - it's only be displayed after tapping the display.
Is something else displayed on the lock screen where the text should appear (centered at the bottom between the shortcuts) that could conflict with the text?

If there's too much text, it's usually simply cut off at the end - two lines of text are fine (I can't say exactly how many characters).

The text im trying to add is an email inn case ny phone gets lost.
I dont have always om display.
The only thing showing om my lockscreen is the time (small clock, not the fullscreen one).
I use default graphene OS launcher.
The phone has been rebootet.

Also I just noticed that the date is nolonger showing under the digital clock om the lockscreen. Could this be related?

It could.

But adding lock-screen text works for some people, so there's a good chance that the settings matter.

I have a large clock, but I don't think that's because of anything I chose. So maybe some option you have selected shrank the clock and is also hiding the text?

I have "Use device controls" off, and just one shortcut (the flashlight). I don't have any wallpaper at all. It might be productive to try turning things that are on your lock screen off.

And I guess probably before that... if any developer options are on, try turning them off.

You can add medical informations like blood type, allergies, emergency contacts, etc. in Settings> Safety & emergency> Emergency information
