I tried to set up the new android terminal app (com.android.virtualization.terminal) but it keeps hanging when I first open the app. The app just displays 'Preparing terminal' with a spinning circle for 30+ minutes. I went into its logs and just see this error printed over and over and over:

CameraManagerGlobal: Connecting to camera service
CameraMangerGlobal: Camera service is unavailable

I'm not sure why the terminal would need a camera service? I don't see any camera permissions in the app. I've tried restarting my phone and clearing its data and resetting the terminal app. How are other people getting the terminal app to work?

Has anyone else had success/issues getting the terminal app to work?

4nu4b It can be used in a secondary profile without a VPN instead of disabling the VPN anywhere.

ive been trying to figure out how to use it with tailscale but it cant even access the terminal as soon as you use any external dns server... so it looks like theres a 192.168.0.1 entity responsible for local dns that it cant function without...
would love to know more about how I can modify things to get tailscale to work or just configure the local dns entity...
